Reunited GRAVITY KILLS To Perform At 'The Edge 12th Birthday Bash' In Tulsa
March 9, 2007GRAVITY KILLS will reunite to help celebrate the 12th birthday of Tulsa's rock alternative, Z-104.5 The Edge. "The Edge 12th Birthday Bash" show is scheduled for Saturday, May 19 at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. Also scheduled to appear are FAILSAFE and RADIORADIO. Tickets are on sale Friday, March 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Gettix.net, the Cain's Box Office, Reasor's Grocery Stores and Starship Records and Tapes or by calling 1-866-443-8849 or (918) 584-2306. Tickets are $17 in advance and $19 day of show plus service fees. This is an all-ages show with doors at 7:00 p.m. and music at 8:00 p.m.
GRAVITY KILLS struck it big in St. Louis, MO in 1995 when they wrote a song for a local radio station compilation CD. That song was "Guilty", which helped land them a recording contract with TVT Records. "Guilty" was featured on ESPN's "X-Games Volume 1" CD and featured in the motion picture "Seven". GRAVITY KILLS went on to release three full-length albums, "Gravity Kills", "Perversion", "Superstarved" and one remix CD, "Manipulated". The band officially broke up in 2003.
